Policy

The passage of Senate Bill 10-003 allows the Board to develop their own awarding policy for the Colorado Student Grant beginning with the 2011-2012 award year. The Colorado Department of Higher Education will no longer be developing or enforcing a state-wide awarding policy for this need-based student grant. This also applies to the Colorado Merit Aid program beginning with the 2014-15 award year.

Scope

This policy applies to all state system community colleges.

Procedures

The System President shall promulgate such procedures as may be needed to implement this policy.
