Policy Statement

The State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (Board) delegates to the Chancellor of the Colorado Community College System (System/CCCS) personnel authority to manage employment for the president, statutorily referred to as the “Chief Administrative Officer”, of each institution within the System.

Scope

This Policy applies to the conditions of employment of College Presidents within the System. The conditions will include, but are not limited to: Contract terms, Job Description, Evaluation Process, Employment Benefits, and Compensation.

Procedures

The Chancellor shall promulgate procedures as necessary to implement this Policy.
