Arapahoe Community College Collaborating with Five Partners on Hybrid Vehicle Education Initiative

Arapahoe Community College recently purchased this hybrid Chevy Tahoe and will begin training in automotive hybrid technology this spring.
Just before the school year began, the U.S. Department of Energy announced a $5 million grant in which ACC is working alongside CSU Ventures, the Douglas County School District and the Georgia Institute of Technology to educate the public; train the workforce; and, familiarize emergency responders about the inner workings of hybrid and electric vehicles.
