New Simulation Lab Helps Pharmacy Tech Program Earn American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Accreditation

The new Pike Peak Community College Pharmacy Tech simulation lab features five flow hood where students can practice aseptic preparation such as the above readying of an IV infusion.
The Pharmacy Tech program at Pikes Peak Community College has a brand new simulation lab available for students which recently helped it earn its national accreditation from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Read more. .
CTE Multi-media Students Produce Award-winning Video Showing Impact of Teen Fatalities from Distracted and Impaired Driving

Every fifteen minutes a teenager becomes the fatal victim of a driving accident caused by substance abuse, a distracted driver, or both. Earlier this year, students in a Morgan Community College CTE multi-media class illustrated the impact of such tragedies using video. Read more..
