Morgan Community College
Morgan Community College has openings for the first year of the Associate Degree Nursing program at our Wray Campus for Fall, 2008! Students would attend the Fort Morgan Campus to finish the second year of the program. Morgan Community College currently has alternate openings for the Fort Morgan Campus for the ADN program for fall 2008. Alternates are accepted into the program if currently accepted students drop out on or before the first day of classes August 25, 2008. If you have completed pre-requisite coursework as identified on the Colorado Community College System website (
www.cccs.edu) and would like to be considered for admission into our program, please contact Gwen Steffen at 970-542-3224 or by e-mail
gwen.steffen@morgancc.edu. The current wait for our ADN program is one year or less.
Morgan Community College is located 75 miles east of Denver on I-76. The Wray campus is 86 miles east of Fort Morgan on Hwy 34.
Lamar Community College
Lamar Community College has openings in the first and second level of the Associate Degree Nursing program for Fall, 2008! If you have completed pre-requisite coursework
as identified on the Colorado Community College System website (

Nursing Program Definitions
Practical NursingThe Practical Nursing graduate receives a certificate in Practical Nursing and is eligible to apply to take the LPN Licensure Examination.
Associate Degree NursingThe Associate Degree Nursing graduate receives an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and is eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination.
Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse
You are a Licensed Practical Nurse (with a valid Colorado LPN license) applying to the second level of an ADN program. The graduate student receives an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and is eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination, NCLEX® RN.
