Colorado Community College Nursing Program

Application Process

There are two main steps to the application process —
  1. If you are not already a student at the college of your choice, apply to the college through their general application for admission.
  2. Attend a nursing information session or contact the Nursing Program Representatives at the college you wish to attend for information regarding their wait list for the nursing program you are pursuing.

    1. First, take the Accuplacer placement exam per college policy. This is to determine if you have any further prerequisites which must be taken prior to your application to a nursing program.
    2. Second, before you can be added to a nursing program wait list, you must complete all program prerequisites, including acceptable course grades, grade point average (GPA) and the FBI fingerprinting process as listed in the Nursing Program Prerequisites section.
    3. You may then apply to be on a nursing program wait list by contacting your college's Nursing Program Representatives. Please apply to only your first choice wait list at one college. Applying to more than one wait list at more than one college may result in a delay of your application.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING NURSING PROGRAMS: Please only apply to one wait list - you cannot be on multiple program or college Nursing Wait Lists. If you wish to change to another wait list, please contact your college's Nursing Program Representatives for instructions.
