Jala Pfaff, Spanish instructor at Front Range Community College-Boulder County Campus, has had Seducing the Rabbi, a novel, published.
Set in Boulder, the novel highlights the ironies and randomness of everyday
life. Aviva Goldberg, a 35-year old linguistics professor, accepts a challenge from her two best friends to seduce 30 men over a one year period, yet it is a proposition that proves to be quite difficult.
“I couldn’t stop laughing at this zany yet intellectual romp through our very own Boulder, Colorado, home to hippies, yuppies, and Zip Code Man, amongst plenty of other memorable and funky characters,” wrote reviewer Ann Tinkham. “Guaranteed, you won’t forget Aviva Goldberg, linguistics professor extraordinaire, nor any of her fabulously quirky ‘candidates.’”
The novel is available at Boulder Bookstore on the Pearl Street Mall, from Blue Flax Press, or from Jala personally.
